JB Daruka Papers Limited was started in 1998 by Late Vishwanath Agarwal and, his sons & current directors of the company, Mr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal and Mr. Ramesh Kumar Agarwal. The unit started with manufacturing of MG Kraft Paper and later became pioneers of Agro-based Absorbent Kraft Paper from bagasse in India. Soon, this high-quality paper became the company’s flagship product and till today JB Daruka Papers Limited stands as the pioneer and one of the very few Agro-based Absorbent Kraft Paper manufacturers in the country. The company ensures excellent quality of paper, which is used in decorative laminates and sunmica.

Over 2 decades, JB Daruka Papers Limited has expanded its portfolio across multiple variants of paper and products while maintaining excellent quality and improving over time. It has a locational advantage of being at the center of the largest sugarcane producing state in India, as bagasse (sugarcane residue) is the main raw material for this variant of Absorbent Kraft Paper.

Jb Daruka is committed to creating an environment-friendly culture and an entire ecology that promotes sustainability. The company has a strict policy of “No Cutting Trees” and uses locally sourced agro residue (bagasse) and, recycles waste to make Absorbent Kraft Paper and other speciality papers. The company also generates employment for the rural area and local community.

The family has an industrial background right from the Independence days when the great grandfather migrated to Sitapur and started supply of food grains to the military. His siblings, continuing the legacy, expanded and diversified the business into trading and manufacturing of multiple products. Business interests of the family included the trading of food grains and cement, manufacturing and processing of khandsari sugar, polished rice, flour, pulses and dairy products before venturing into speciality paper manufacturing.
